The Council of Catholic Women:

Is to be a means by which Catholic women of the Metuchen area may gather to speak and act on current interests.

Assist in uniting Catholic organizations and individual women in developing their leadership potential; motivate and assist them to act upon current issues in the church and society, and

Respond to needs of the parish and community.

February 2008 Trip to Mt. St. Mary's:

St. Francis Council of Catholic Women is sponsoring a trip to beautiful Mount St. Mary’s in the Watchung Mountains on Tuesday, February 26th.  All are welcome to attend. 

 

We will meet in the St. Francis Cathedral parking lot at 6:16 pm.  Departure time is 6:30 pm.  Carpools will be available for anyone needing a ride.  Donation is $5.00 per person.

May 2008 Bus Trip:
 

A GIFT FOR MOM, "The Culinary Institute of America"


Thinking of a gift for Mother’s Day or just a day out with the girls?  Well we have the answer; the Council of Catholic Women is sponsoring a trip to the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY on Saturday, May 3. 

 

The bus will leave the cathedral parking lot at 8:30 AM and arrive in Metuchen approximately at 6:30 PM.   The cost of the trip is $65.00 and includes bus, lunch and a tour of the Vanderbilt Mansion.

Meeting Day & Time

Usually, 4th Tuesday of the month, September through June.  Meetings are held in various rooms of the church depending on activity and availability.  In lieu of a regular meeting, several trips have been scheduled for 2007-2008.
