Engaged Encounter

Engaged Encounter is an intense weekend offering each soon-to-be-married couple the time and opportunity to question, examine and deepen their relationship with each other and with God. Through a series of writing and sharing exercises, the couples are challenged to explore many aspects of their relationship. 

Some topics covered are: Self-awareness, Unity, Marriage Readiness, Communication, Careers, Children, Sexuality and Forgiveness. While the main focus of the weekend is on the development of the couple’s relationship, the Engaged Encounter experience is Christ-centered. Recent studies indicate a positive correlation between a couple’s attendance at an Engaged Encounter Weekend and the quality of their relationship. 

The next weekend is scheduled for September 28/30.
