Heb 4:12

Our Mission

Our Parish offers one weekly, ongoing Bible Study classes. The program is designed for the lay person and has a practical basis for understanding God’s message in our personal lives. Both sessions are small study groups that offer lots of discussion and interaction. Groups are diversified and friendly and participants find them enjoyable. Each week is a new beginning, and you may attend at any time and come as often as you like.

Which Book ?

Monday Group:

The Monday Night Women’s Faith Sharing Group is currently studying the Wisdom  Books with an emphasis on  Song of Solomon, Daniel and the book of Job along with other Wisdom scriptures that are infrequently studied by small Faith Sharing groups. We know and hear much from Psalms and Proverbs, but the other books offer great insight to life’s trials as well. Each lecture is independent of the others and there is no study commitment outside of the meeting.

This excellent series has been written by and presented by Fr. Joseph Koterski, SJ. This award winning Professor of Philosophy from Fordham University presents the lectures clearly and with a pragmatic approach. It is produced by the Teaching Company as part of the Great Courses, with a rare opportunity to hear a Catholic viewpoint to these biblical treasures. We watch a half hour video and bring it to open discussion with the group.

All are welcome, male or female. We are a small group of friendly people who enjoy interesting discussions. We meet every Monday at 7:30 pm  in the Joseph Room. Please join us when you can. For further info email Kate Reilly Lund .

Thursday & Saturday Group:

Exodus: Called to Freedom looks through the lens of Christ and the Church to show that more than just seeking to free.
His people from the domination of Pharaoh, God desired to free His people from the far more sinister tyranny of sin.

He wanted them to live the authentic freedom that belongs to the Children of God. Because of this, the Exodus story

is not just Israel’s story, it is our story as well; it tells us Who God is and what He calls us to be. This section of the
Great Adventure Bible Story will begin on Thursday, October 15 at 7:15pm in the Joseph Room.

Please contact Pat Morgan if interested.
