If we really allow the Gospel to penetrate our heart we have to feel challenged; uncomfortable even.  If we do not feel uneasy in some way, then somehow we have “tamed” the Gospel message to fit somehow with our assumptions about life.  It is much easier to fall on the platitude “I’m a good person,” rather than what more does the Lord want to of me?
