❤️Yesterday for “World Kindness Day”, Mrs. Johnson’s Kindergarten class learned all about ways to be kind. They listened to the story, “A Wrinkled Heart” that highlights unkind words wrinkles people’s hearts. The students performed an experiment where they wrinkled a paper heart and then, tried to get it back to its original shape. They saw that they could never get their paper hearts back exactly the way they started. They truly grasped the importance of choosing their words to promote a culture of kindness.🥰 #SFCS

1) “We must pray without tiring, for the salvation of mankind does not depend upon material success…but on Jesus alone.”

✨SFCS received a generous donation of $48,750 from the Msgr. Richard A. Behl Endowment Fund for technology and curriculum updates. Chairperson, Patricia Bixel presented the check in front of the school's donor wall to Principal Katheen Dalton, President Dr. Jay Locquiao and Very Reverend Fr. Timothy A. Christy, Rector of the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi. The Behl Fund is a permanent endowment established in 2008 to enhance the school's curriculum in the areas of religion, science, technology, mathematics, language and fine arts. We would like to thank all our donors for their steadfast commitment to Catholic education!😃 #SFCS
