👨🏽🔬👩🏼🔬Our 4th & 5th grade classes came together today to work on an “Easter Peep 🐥 Dissolving Experiment”. The students observed peeps in four different liquids - soda, juice, water and vinegar. Then, they completed a chart documenting their predictions and findings. It was a sweet 🐣way to kick off our Holy✝️Easter Week. #SFCS

“Ask and you shall receive; knock and the door will be opened… After two years of searching, I discovered that the truth I was seeking was not just an idea, but a Person who knows and loves me. Through OCIA, I encountered Christ more deeply and found a home in His Church.”

“Coming into the Catholic Church through OCIA has been one of the most meaningful decisions of my life. This journey deepened my faith and taught me to trust God more fully. Director Tina Rossi led the program with such care and intention, creating a space where I felt encouraged, supported, and truly seen. This parish has become a place where my faith feels alive and rooted.”

🎨Our fifth and sixth graders have been busy working on artwork for the upcoming SFCS Tricky Tray. The students are dialing into their creative sides as they illustrate the theme “Rodeo Roundup!”🤠 #SFCS

🫰🏻Mrs. Stanicki’s 6th grade science classes learned about the sense of touch by testing sensory receptors on their fingertips and knuckles. Students had to close their eyes and guess the number of Braille dots that their partners put under their fingers. The class has also explored virtual 3D simulations showing receptors in the skin and felt mystery objects inside paper bags. The 6th grade is really getting in touch with “touch”!👫SFCS

🚣🏻♀️Mrs. Adinolfi’s 5th grade classes participated in “The Mayflower Boat Building Challenge.” The students worked as a team to plan, design, build, test and improve their mini Mayflowers.🛶Their boats needed to hold the weight of at least five pennies. They came up with some very creative solutions to master this challenge!💫 #SFCS

📚Mrs. Burke’s 3rd graders have been working together in small groups to build vocabulary for their new novel study. Collaborative teamwork makes the dream work!😃 #SFCS

✨On Friday, our three PreK classes celebrated St. Joseph’s Day with a celebration honoring their👨🏼💼fathers. They played cornhole, Connect Four, made handprints with their dads and 🖍️colored together. They all enjoyed the special treats and the time they spent together at SFCS. #SFCS

✨SFCS celebrated 3.14 Pi Day today! Principal Dalton gave out 🥧awards to the students who memorized the most numbers in each grade for Pi.🌟Congrats to Carl T. who was the school grand prize winner with 399 numbers!🏆#SFCS

👨🏼💼Our Kindergarteners hosted their dads in their classrooms today for breakfast on St. Joseph’s Day. They had so much fun doing a word search together and singing songs like, “Take me out to the ⚾️Ball Game”. The children gave their fathers the special gifts that they made for them. The dads were challenged to decipher which portrait was them hanging up in the hallway. It was such a wonderful day in K!🥰 #SFCS

🎨Our first day of Art Club, led by Mrs. Ackerson, was a big success! The first and third graders had a lot of fun working with clay. They proved to be very creative sculptors!👨🏼🎨👩🏽🎨 #SFCS

🍀Happy St. Patrick’s Day from SFCS! Mrs. Johnson’s Kindergarten class worked on making leprechaun traps in their classroom this morning. They were only able to use items in their desks to construct traps for the leprechauns. They were all so creative and came up with some clever things!☘️ #SFCS

🌟On Saturday, seventh grader Carl T. participated in the Middlesex County Championship Spelling Bee. It featured seventeen of the best spellers from schools throughout the county. Though the Bee’s winner hails from a different school, we are very proud of Carl for representing SFCS in true Crusader style!🤩 #SFCS #ScrippsNationalSpellingBee
