Did you know? Before becoming the saint we know today, St. Francis of Assisi served as a soldier and was captured during a conflict with the city of Perugia. He spent nearly a year as a prisoner of war—an experience that helped spark the profound conversion that would change his life and, ultimately, the world.
✨ God often uses our greatest trials to lead us closer to Him.
